**Disability Support Worker**:
**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
Our participant is a 70-year-old female, who has recently sustained a Brain Injury due to a motor vehicle accident. As a result of the accident, our participant does sometimes struggle with her memory and disorientation and is therefore requiring support and supervision 7 x days a week. Our participant is currently residing in her own home with her brother and daughter, who is currently providing support. The participant is very friendly and has a great attitude, and due to her brain injury, she doesn't have any filter. So she is seeking someone who can receive her well and can help her with capacity building and her independence. The participant is very keen to be involved in the day-to-day tasks and would require supervision and prompting as she continues with her rehab.

**Location & Roster**:
Our participant is located near **Buderim **in the Sunshine Coast region.

The current shifts available are as followed;
- Morning shifts 8:00am - 3:00pm
- Afternoon shifts 3:00pm - 10:00pm or 8:00pm
- Inactive sleepovers

**Commencement Date**:
ASAP - Must be available for a Meet and Greet prior to commencement.

**Rate of Pay**:

- Day shift - $38.75 p/h
- Afternoon shift - $42.63 p/h
- Saturday shift - $54.25 p/h
- Sunday shift - $69.75 p/h
- $0.96 travel allowance (applies only when travelling with participant to and from appointments)

**Tasks & Duties**:

- Supervision and Prompting for Tasks and Activities
- Assistance with Personal Care - Showering, Grooming, Dressing etc
- Transportation for Health Appointments, Community Access and Social Events
- Domestic Tasks - Assistance with Cooking, Cleaning etc
- Assistance with Planning and Organising Tasks
- Assitance with Capacity Building & Companionship
- Assistance with Health and Rehab exercises
- Assistance with Prompting for Medications
