About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker Tradesperson to work within our Raw Materials Maintenance team in the Utilities department.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Raw Materials Maintenance, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
Completing maintenance and repair work on Materials Handling Conveying Transfer systems and associated equipment including Bauxite Unloaders, Alumina Loader and Dust Collection systems
Identifying, developing and implementing improvements relating to the plant equipment, work processes and practices
Taking responsibility for safety, work quality and quantity, training and learning
Effectively communicating with section customers and peers to safely achieve maximum productivity of a high standard
What You Will Bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork
Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
A current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or be eligible to meet this requirement
Self-motivation with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement
Ability to work as both an individual and within a team environment supporting planners, supervisors, warehouse and purchasing teams
Elevated Work Platform, Forklift, Dogging & Rigging qualifications would be highly regarded
