**The Opportunity**

Dulux Group has an exciting new opportunity for a Category Manager.

The role can be based out of Brisbane or Melbourne and is within our Lincoln Sentry business enveloping leading brands in the cabinet hardware and architectural hardware markets.

Reporting to Senior Category Strategy Manager, Lincoln Sentry, you will be responsible for strategic category management, taking both a short and long-term view to grow and evolve the respective category through a highly commercial, customer-focused, and insight-led mindset.

You will set the strategic direction for our category and sub-categories and efficiently utilise data to uncover opportunities and deliver recommendations to our customers. You will own an insight-led innovation process focused on category development through a strong pipeline of profitable NPD and innovation initiatives.

You will work collaboratively with diverse set of stakeholders across the Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance teams, as well as with key customers.

**What you will bring and develop**

You are curious and have a passion for category management. You utilise data to make strong business recommendations. Your continual improvement approach and ability to work in a complex environment will drive your success.

You work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and have strong influencing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in a Category Management
- Experience in innovation, new product development and supplier onboarding and management is preferable
- Successful track record of delivering commercial outcomes
- Proficient in Excel and other platforms of MS Suite
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management / Marketing
