**About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide technical and expert support and advice to researchers and conduct review and provide recommendations with regards to the Site-Specific Assessment (SSA) authorisation of research in Metro North, aligning with strategic and operational objectives, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to research in Australia.

About you

Provide technical, high-level advice and support to MNH researchers, clients and stakeholders regarding Site-Specific Assessment (SSA) requirements, in a complex and diverse research environment, including assessment of resource and operational requirements that are critical to the needs of the research study being undertaken.
Utilise specialist knowledge in research governance to lead the review and negotiation of standard and non-standard research contractual agreements with external stakeholders to safeguard the interests of MNH including insurance cover, funding and intellectual property arrangements.
