About the role:
We are looking for an exceptional Collection Officer / Account Receivable to be the newest member of the Collections team based in our Rhodes Support

office, reporting directly to the Collections Manager NSW / ACT.

This role provides support for a specific group of credit customers. You will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of accounts, collection of debts, account maintenance, customer queries, dispute resolution and managing internal and external phone calls in large volumes.

Part of this role will require you to build strong relationships with customers and the extended Bunnings team, while working closely with the Commercial, Trade and Retail Operations teams.

What's involved:
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable- Collection of debts- Account maintenance- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders-
- Dispute resolution- Handling Inbound account calls- Relief Reception

What we need from you:
An experienced and passionate finance professional who is a team player, outcome driven, adept at stakeholder management, possesses exceptional communication and customer service skills.

You'll need:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting would be ideal but not essential- A strong results orientation and achievement of KPIs- Strong communication skills- Excellent negotiation skills who can utilise empathy and assertiveness to achieve outcomes- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel / Word)- Well-developed interpersonal skills- Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team when needed- A high level of speed and accuracy- A proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment demonstrating flexibility and professionalism- Impeccable administration skills with a high attention to detail- Ability to handle high volumes of incoming calls- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
