**The Opportunity**

Located in Ormiston, Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living is a large retirement living community, home to 200+ independent living units filled with gardens, croquet lawns, bowling green, a workshop, and much more As a passionate people person, you will enjoy spending time outdoors looking after the day-to-day upkeep of our lawns, gardens and grounds. If you're looking for a hands-on opportunity where you will connect with residents and take pride in the presentation of gardens, this is an opportunity for you

**This is a permanent full-time role working Monday-Friday 7-3pm**

**You will**
- Be responsible for the maintenance of all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal
- Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
- Complete additional adhoc tasks delegated to you by Community Leaders
- Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

**What you'll bring**
- Experience in General 'Handyperson' Maintenance, Gardening or Landscaping roles (highly desired)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
- Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID-19 doses (required)
