**About the Role**

Koorana Child & Family Services is looking for a Specialist Teacher/Key Worker to join our team to deliver evidence based early intervention services for children aged under seven. You will be working in a variety of settings including clinic, community-based (in home, early education settings and schools) and tele-health. We work from a best practice enhanced key worker model and have a specific focus on supporting children and young people with additional needs, and their families.

In this role you will be required to collaboratively plan, implement and evaluate interventions that are designed to support the child and build the capacity of families to enable the child to reach their goals as identified in NDIS plans or via other goal setting processes.

**About You**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborative planning, implementation and evaluation of Specialist Teacher/key worker interventions which are designed to support the child, and build the capacity of families, to enable the child to reach their goals as identified in NDIS plans or via other goal setting processes.
- Working as part of a trans-disciplinary team to delivery evidence based early intervention services for children who are aged under 7, including working in the enhanced key worker model.
- Develop and maintain an effective timetable/schedule which enables the delivery of Speech pathology services that meet organisationally defined billable hour targets.
- Liaising with other professionals/colleagues or external agencies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal and external professionals to support holistic outcomes.
- Managing your own caseload with support from our Intake team to build confidence and autonomy.

**What we are looking for**:

- A qualified teacher with a bachelor's or higher in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent degree.
- Accreditation or willingness to become accredited through NESA.
- At least 1 year of specialist teaching or paediatric disability experience.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- A team player who values collaboration and continuous improvement.
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive practice.

- NDIS Worker Screen Check
- Driver's Licence
