We are working with developers and operators of clean energy and transmission assets as they look to transform their portfolios to meet the worlds decarbonisation ambition.We currently have an exciting opportunity to bring on board an experienced Senior Estimator to join this team in Sydney.
Responsibilities:Lead the estimation process for construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate estimates.Prepare capital cost estimates to meet industry standard estimate classification guidelinesAnalyse and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.Review and analyse bids, proposals, and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.Analysis of construction project change and the provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.Working collaboratively and seamlessly with all other key project and programme functions such as; cost, risk and planning teams.Analyse and assess costs and estimates provided by suppliers and contractorsProvide process and technical estimating support and production of feasibility studiesProvide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior estimators and team membersQualificationsMust be in Australia with full working rights.
A recognised Degree Qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, MRICS / AIQS accreditation or other relevant qualification is ideal10 years relevant estimating work experienceTransmission or Clean Energy experience preferredProficient in the use of estimating software and risk quantification software (Candy preferred)Ability to demonstrate attention to detail in the production of cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentationExcellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skillsHighly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
