**The Opportunity**

The purpose of our Risk Management team is to enable the Investment Business Operations (IBO) divisions to meet their business objectives by maintaining a strong risk and control environment. This is achieved through the provision of expert advice, oversight, challenge, and controls assurance.

Joining us as an Analyst in our team and with the support of the Risk Management team, you will partner primarily with the Technology Business Unit, building strong relationships to develop a deep understanding of technology processes and controls, providing valuable insights and guidance. You will have direct access to senior leaders across the Agency and will be encouraged to challenge the status quo to uplift risk management practices. Day-to-day activities will be varied, and include risk profiling, incident management, controls assurance and coordination of the audit relationship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Risk profiling - working with the Business to identify and assess key risks and controls
- Controls assurance - providing independent assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of the control environment, having quality conversations to help the Business effectively manage their risks
- Risk reporting - assisting with the creation of reporting for various risk governance forums, attending these forums as an active participant
- Incident management - facilitate the review of incidents, working with the Business to understand root cause and ensure appropriate actions are taken
- Audit management - working with the Business and Internal Audit to facilitate the smooth completion of audit activity

**About You**

We are looking for someone with a background in Technology Risk, ideally within Financial Services, or from a professional consulting firm with a risk background. Strong experience from an Operational Risk background in these industries will also be considered.

Audit experience in technology general controls reviews, and/or knowledge of IT Security and Risk Management frameworks will be advantageous, as would experience in technology incident and problem management.

You'll be someone who strives to deliver high-quality work, developing lasting and trusted relationships with your stakeholders to add value and make a difference in our organisation.
