North Star is a multi-award-winning holiday resort at Hastings Point, in the heart of the northern NSW Tweed Coast. Over the past 40 years, North Star has grown to become one of Australia's top holiday destinations, with an onsite restaurant, conference and event spaces, day spa and leisure centre, kids' club, Marine Environment Museum, water park and 8.2-meter high water slides. Accommodation ranges from camping and van sites to luxury villas.

We are seeking an experienced highly motivated, well-presented, energetic person with a bright personality, who enjoys providing great service with a smile, to join our team as Front Office Receptionist.

The role requires exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management skills, working within a team, excellent attention to detail and a pride in your role and the service you deliver.

Duties & Responsibilities include
- Processing large volumes of reservations in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining guest's accounts with accuracy
- General front office duties
- Directing internal and external telephone calls
- Daily reconciliation of takings

The applicant we are seeking will have:

- Previous Front Reception experience
- Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher and Outlook
- Previous experience in RMS or NewBook preferred
- The ability to multi-task and demonstrate initiative
- Accuracy in cash handling
- Be available to work morning, afternoon, evenings and weekends.
- Be flexible for additional hours and changing times
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and analytical skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team

This career opportunity is a casual position (15 - 20 hours per week) being mostly weekends. The position comes with an excellent wage.
