- Our Receptionists deliver high quality customer focused reception and administrative activities for TSA area. As the first point of contact it is essential this position presents a professional image and creates a welcoming, warm and positive first impression, whether via phone or in person.
Why this role matters
The primary purpose of the Receptionist role is to act as the first point of contact to clients and visitors for the Doorways program. The Receptionist provides a high level of customer service and administrative support to the program.
You will successfully
- Establish effective work relationships with Corps Officers, key staff, mangers, and other stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Maintain regular communication with all team members.
- Provide reception and administrative support for Corps and Doorways programs
- Complete other administrative/reception duties within the scope of the position as required by Case workers and Corps Officers
This is a casual position to assist when needed when staff take leave and busy times of the year.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 2.

You will have
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role.
- Desirable - Certificate III or above in Administration or currently working towards.
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the mission and values of The Salvation Army
- A current VIC Drivers Licence
- Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
