Job Description:
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for leading AILA's strategic execution, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and operational management. The role involves inspiring and guiding a passionate national team, driving high-impact initiatives, and strengthening the visibility and influence of the profession.
A key focus area includes providing visionary leadership across AILA's five strategic pillars: Advocacy, Profile, Education, Membership, and Organisational Sustainability.
The CEO will also lead organisational change to ensure AILA's structure is fit for future national growth and member needs.
Additionally, the role requires ensuring strong financial management of AILA's financial base and embedding sound accounting practices.
Championing good governance, working closely with the Board to embed best-practice planning, management, and reporting is another critical aspect of the job.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives, experience working with and reporting to a Board, and strong commercial acumen.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in business management, entrepreneurship, or related fields
Executive-level experience with a proven ability to drive organisational transformation and sector influence
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
