We are One Peninsula Health.What You Will Be DoingThe CATT Senior Mental Health Clinician provides and supports mental health assessment and treatment for individuals requiring urgent, short-term, or ongoing community-based mental health services.
The role involves shift leadership, guiding and supporting the team, and serving as the first escalation point.
Additionally, the clinician will support the orientation and development of less experienced staff.
Your skills will also be utilized in assessments, early discharge management, Mental Health Telephone Triage, and PACER responses.For more information, please see the Position Description.What You NeedWe anticipate you will have:Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration.
RPN candidates must have postgraduate qualification in Mental Health or a specialist undergraduate program.A minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health, including acute inpatient and/or community care.Management and leadership experience.Proven skills in managing consumers with major mental illnesses, including assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, and psychosocial rehabilitation.A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to consumers from diverse backgrounds.What NextIf you encounter issues signing in, registering, or with specific role information, please contact Vanessa Rooth via email or phone.The role advertising closes on: 25 August 2025Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and may close early if sufficient applications are received.
