The Position
We are seeking a passionate Learning Enhancement Coordinator to join the Werribee campus.
This leadership role guides the Learning Enhancement team to support and extend student learning, providing expertise to teaching staff and fostering a Christ-centered, supportive educational environment.
The role reports to the Director of Student Wellbeing and leads a team of Learning Enhancement Teachers and Learning Assistants to deliver high-quality learning programs, including literacy and numeracy support and extension.
It sits within the Student Wellbeing Team and collaborates with the Student Welfare Coordinator and College Nurse to address holistic student needs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to Christian values, proven leadership in educational support programs, and outstanding organizational skills.
Experience in managing educational support programs and developing staff will contribute to a positive, Christ-centered team culture.
The position is 0.5 Learning Enhancement Teacher and 0.5 Leader with allowance and time release.
The Person
Have a demonstrated commitment to the Lordship of Christ in all areas of life.
Understand and support the College's mission and educational direction.
Have extensive experience and a deep understanding of current educational support programs, trends, practices and policies.
Have appropriate leadership qualifications and/or experience; able to build the capacity of team members and cultivate a positive, healthy, Christ-centered team culture.
Be committed to the development and empowerment of staff.
Have strong organizational skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
