The roleWe're looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Supervisor - Concrete to join our team at our Silverwater office.
In this full-time role, you'll report directly to the Logistics Manager - NSW and take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of our concrete truck fleet.This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with a passion for safety, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Your strong leadership skills will help ensure smooth, safe, and timely delivery operations that meet our high standards and customer expectations.You will receive comprehensive training and have the chance to develop new skills and expand your knowledge of the construction materials industry as part of our ongoing investment in your career.We offer a competitive remuneration package along with a fully maintained company vehicle.ResponsibilitiesPromote and maintain a safe work environmentSupport business strategy and goalsMaintain compliance of concrete fleet with legislative and customer driven requirementsOversee truck maintenanceConducting regular truck inspections with a focus on fleet presentationMaintain high levels of customer service both internally and externallyManage operating costsManage driver recruitment, onboarding and training for employeesAssist with the rollout of logistics related projects and trainingWhat you will need to succeedSolid leadership capability with previous logistics supervision experienceProven experience managing driver teams, including both contractors and company-owned fleet (highly regarded)Strong knowledge of the transport industry - National Heavy Law and Chain of ResponsibilityAble to manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenProficient computer skills - Gearbox, SAP and Microsoft SuiteHeavy Vehicle qualification (desirable)If you're ready to take the next step in your logistics career and thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment-apply today
