Due to recent growth, we are looking to compliment our team with a Maintenance Fitter to work at both Gold Coast locations.

Responsibilities of the role are:

- Ensure all plant (processing and ancillary), equipment, and buildings are maintained in a fully operational and safe condition according to food standards.
- Assist with the installation of new plant, equipment and facilities.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
- Repair food production equipment.

Requirements of the role:

- Multi-skilled including diagnostic skills for equipment,
- Good fault-finding skills,
- Welding (MIG, TIG and stick), machining, etc.
- Understanding of food safety requirements and compliance with Quality Assurance food safety standards,
- Full-time role.

Skills & Experience:

- Trade qualified Fitter & Turner qualification is desirable. 3rd year apprentices are encouraged to apply
- Food industry experience is desirable but not necessary.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Computerised maintenance system experience is desirable but not necessary as training on site will be given.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
