**Description**:
Facility Management (Brisbane)
- Manage facility;
- Cleaning
- office, car park and garden areas
- Maintenance and repairs
- Security and access
- Purchasing of and maintain and control Inventory (non branded) related to facility management including stationery and kitchen supplies
- Manage delivery of mail from Post Office Box
- Manage deliveries to and from the office and couriers
- Manage internal storage facilities
- Liase with the Property Manager for the building regarding inpections and non SLSA required maintenance
Workplace Health and Safety
- Coordinate Brisbane Facility related Workplace Health and Safety actions
- Ensure all WHS reports and actions are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate fire compliance including staff training and equipment servicability
- Co-ordinate annual electrical 'Test & Tag' checks
- Manage WHS equipment e.g. hand sanitizer stations, first aid supplies
Staff Support
- Co-ordinate the use, cleaning, maintenance and registration of company vehicle(s), escalating any issues to the Procurement Manager.
- Manage and coordinate document storage and archiving on and off site
- Coordinate with the Human Resources Department, the group apparel e.g. uniforms
- Assist the Lottery and Marketing team with marketing signage purchases
SLSF Operations
- Coordinate service providers for prize homes and maintain service records
- Assist with set up and maintenance of prize homes as requested by the Lottery Team
- Assist with coordinating the keys and security access to prize homes
- Assist GSU with grant-related lifesaving gear & equipment quotes/ordering
Policies and Procedures
- Adhere to, and comply with organisational policies, processes and procedures, using appropriate systems where required.
- Model the organisation's values, play a role in raising the profile of these values and associated behaviours across the organisation.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to a quality culture, implementing standards of excellence and a continuous improvement business focus.
- Support and promote a strong safety culture by ensuring all work activities are performed in compliance with the organisation's Work Health and Safety Policy
**Skills and Experiences**:
At least two (2) years of facilities management or real estate administration experience
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Knowledge of Surf Life Saving programs and activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Excellent interpersonal skills with people from a variety of backgrounds
Strong ability to show discretion and maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a strong work ethic
Agile, adaptable with an interest to learn and develop
Highly organised, resilient and energetic with an ability to work under pressure and effectively manage time to meet deadlines
Team player who develops effective relationships with peers to deliver on business priorities
**You will need to**:
Provide evidence of and maintain a current Queensland Provisional or Open driver's licence.
Provide evidence of entitlement to work in Australia, the maintenance of such entitlement being critical to continuance in the role.
Successfully obtain a National Blue Card prior to being offered the position.
Be flexible in work hours at times to meet the reasonable demands of this position.
Be willing to undertake local travel as required to perform the duties of the position.
Please note that SLSA is a PBI (Public Benevolent Institution). This means that you have the option of taking up to $15,900 of your salary in fringe benefits (net) via the SLSA salary packaging scheme.
