**Job Title:** Lead Estimator AdvisorOur organization is seeking an experienced and skilled estimator to lead our estimating services. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and ongoing support of all estimating systems and functions on large or complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a service-oriented culture within the estimating team, ensuring the preparation of thorough cost estimates with high accuracy for each stage of the project life cycle.
Ensure consistency in cost estimates produced on behalf of the business, adhering to standard procedures.
Assist other groups within the business with the preparation of cost estimates for project development.
Foster relationships with stakeholders, recognizing the importance of knowledge sharing and utilization.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in major project estimating, specializing in process plants.
Strong technical understanding, preferably from a degree in engineering, construction trade qualification, quantity surveying or equivalent industry experience.
Understanding of the engineering and construction industries, particularly in mining.
Proficiency in estimating software systems and advanced skills in Excel.
Excellent analytical data skills, self-motivation, reliability, and ability to work within a team.
