**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Fire Services Designer to join our Construction team within BSA|APS|Fire division. In this role, you will be the main Fire Design point of contact for all modelling, coordination and drawing inquires for projects assigned to you, working on projects for both Wet and Dry Fire Services.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Perform modelling / drafting tasks including the preparation, coordination, and production of workshop drawings.
- Document control and maintenance of drawing files, storage, incoming and outgoing drawings of all disciplines/trades.
- Training and mentoring of junior personnel.
- Assess drafting cost saving potential for projects at the earliest possible stage for Project engineer and PM to investigate, evaluate and develop.
- Maintain BSA technical drafting library and maintaining quality assurance system through documents and procedures.
- Liaising with clients, builders, architects, services trades, sub-contractors, etc.
- Maintain and improve BSA CAD drawing standards and protocols to ensure professionalism in presentation and uniformity of all workshop drawings.
- Report weekly to the Design Manager on progress, performance, and achievements.
- Maintenance of and contribution to the BSA Technical REVIT Families/AUTOCAD Library.

**About You**:

- Extensive experience in Fire Building Services Design, Drafting and/or Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of the Autosprink, Hyena, CAD and REVIT systems.
- Contracting background would be more suited to this position than consulting.
- Knowledge of the 3D-Fire software and families.
- Excellent knowledge of BIM Management Protocols and Processes.
- Excellent knowledge of the Building Services industry with an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical and Fire Services.
- Understanding of other trade services requirements for coordination, coordination tracking systems, clash detection, and collaboration tools for BIM.
- Understanding of complex workshop drawing detailing.
- Excellent knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.
- FPAA Accreditation for Fire Systems Design.
