An ambitious leader within Automated Warehousing, our client has presented an exciting opening for a Maintenance Fitter based on 2 sites in Truganina, VIC. They are the fastest growing specialist in automated storage with world-class and energy efficient systems, delivering high-complex solutions for the food and beverage industry.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Lead Technician, you will;
- Preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding, with trouble shooting on automated systems for equipment such as storage and retrieval cranes, shuttles, conveyors, and buffer systems
- Assisting the operation to ensure maximum system availability
- Working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving and initiating processes and support
- Responding efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment down time
- Communicating extensively with key stakeholders: Operations and Planning teams
- Ensuring OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance to an uncompromising level

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**

Essential;
- Fitter trade qualification
- Automated Warehouse Machinery, such as; Robotics, Conveyors, Lifts, Cranes, Palletisers, Buffers, etc
- Computerised Maintenance software
- Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong organisation skills and be happy working on your own as well as part of a team
- Fault finding/diagnosis on mechatronics
- Customer focus

Desirable;
- Pneumatics & Hydraulics Post Trade Certificate
- PLC & VSD fault finding / programing
- Reconnect / disconnect license

- Base of up to $137k (including loading and penalties) + super
- Up to 250% rate overtime
- Up to 200 days off in a year
- 5 Weeks annual leave
- PPE and tools provided
- Rotating roster; Days 4 on 4 off, nights 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am shifts.
