As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #41256), we deliver high-quality, nationally recognised training that builds capability and supports mission success.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to lead the operations of our RTO.
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing training delivery, compliance, curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement across a national training footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the Cubic RTO, ensuring compliance with ASQA and national training standards.
Oversee the development, delivery, and review of accredited courses, including Certificate III and IV qualifications and emerging micro-credentials.
Manage the RTO scope of registration, quality systems, internal audits, and continuous improvement processes.
Deliver training in simulation and interactive technologies and support technical integration with ICT platforms.
Oversee student engagement and communications, ensuring a high-quality and supported learner experience.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry, Defence, government agencies, and education partners.
Represent Cubic at stakeholder forums, industry events, and regulatory engagements.
Contribute to broader Cubic training initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience in the VET sector, including a deep understanding of ASQA compliance and RTO operations.
TAE40122 (or TAE40116) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
Proven ability to manage training governance and instructional delivery.
Experience in the simulation and training sector or Australian Defence Force (ADF) environment highly regarded.
A strong aptitude for technology and innovation, particularly digital learning tools and systems.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills — able to work across defence, industry, academic, and government sectors.
Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain/hold an Australian Defence security clearance and Working with Children Blue Card.
