**Job description**

Udaya is a large Indian/Asian retail business with 4 retail stores across Sydney. Front facing customer service is a key aspect of our business and we are seeking self-driven Stores and Customer Service Assistants who can oversee a broad range of our day to day customer, counter and retail related activities at our Blacktown store.

**Position purpose**:
Undertake sales and customer service duties to assist in the operation of the Company's retail function. To also assist in back end processes in the storeroom and loading dock.

**Main Tasks**:

- Professionally arrange and replenish stock on display as required
- Attend customers at check-out counters for all their enquiries and needs
- Assist with customer enquiries (both at store aisles/ counter and over the phone) ensuring a high level of professionalism is observed at all times
- Assist with the purchase, delivery, unpacking/packing, handling of goods for sale in an efficient manner
- Carry out basic cleaning activities to ensure clean and tidy presentation of store at all times
- Managing the front of store area
- Handle cash and point of sale transactions

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blacktown, NSW 2148: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
