**About the team**:
The Commercialisation Division is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and programs to drive greater business innovation and commercialisation. Supporting Australian entrepreneurs and businesses to invest in research and development (R&D), grow their business and take their novel ideas to market, including through encouraging private investment, supports a resilient and more competitive economy. The Division also provides support to, and delivers a range of programs on behalf of, Industry Innovation and Science Australia, its committees, or other agencies.
The Commercialisation Division is comprised of three branches:
The **Research and Development Tax Incentive (R&DTI) Branch** is an exciting, multidisciplinary team based around Australia. The Branch delivers the R&DTI program through highly collaborative teams, where members can gain a wide variety of skills and experience, as well as work in partnership with the Australian Taxation Office and businesses.
The **Office of Industry Innovation and Science Australia** **(OIISA)** is a small, dynamic branch that supports the IISA Board and its committees. The branch supports IISA in developing and delivering its strategic advice and reports; delivering its program oversight function; and providing secretariat, communications and engagement support. The branch also provides governance support for IISA and its committees and has IISA legislative policy responsibility.
The **Commercialisation Policy and Programs Branch** is responsible for policies and programs that create an environment that helps foster commercialisation by innovative businesses. With a focus on programs that help innovative companies attract finance, challenge-based innovation and key commercialisation /intellectual property issues.
