Chic rooms and suites embrace the iconic attractions just steps away, while the award-winning restaurant and street front bar are destinations unto themselves.About the role:The Banquet Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations within the Banquets department, ensuring the highest quality of food is delivered for every event and function at the hotel.
This role requires a creative and passionate leader who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with and lead a team of professionals in preparing dishes that celebrate beautiful produce and leave a lasting impression on our guests.What you will do:Ensure our guests consistently receive the highest level of catering and event culinary experiencesOversee production, portion control and quality presentation of all banquet food itemsMaintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all timesAssist with stock management, ordering, and food cost controlLead, develop and mentor a passionate kitchen teamWhat you bring:Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar leadership role within a luxury or high-volume event kitchenStrong product knowledge, technical culinary skills and a commitment to qualityPassion for crafting superb food and memorable event experiencesA sound understanding of current kitchen trends and cuisinesExcellent communication, organisation and leadership skills)Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and HACCPWhat we offer:Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits packageGlobal and internal development opportunities within Four SeasonsComplimentary meals while on dutyUniform provided with complimentary dry cleaningDiscounted accommodation and F&B at Four Seasons properties worldwideA culture built on connection, craftsmanship, and characterSchedule & Hours:Full-time position with flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
