**Job Summary**:
As a Commercial Manager - Contracts, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive commercial management support within the commercial context. Your primary focus will be on delivering GFX management and negotiating contracts. You will work closely with Project Directors and team members to ensure successful contract administration, supplier management, and adherence to relevant client requirements. Your expertise in contracts and commercial acumen will be essential in driving the success of our projects and achieving desired outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide commercial management support to Project Directors, offering guidance, direction, advice, and support as required.
- Offer general commercial and administrative support to ensure efficient project operations.
- Develop and maintain Contract Management Guidance and plans, aligning them with relevant Defence requirements, such as the Contract Management Handbook and the CM Maturity Assessment Matrix.
- Manage ongoing contract administration and management activities for relevant sub-contractors.
- Handle requests for services from support organisations.
- Support contract and commercial activities, including invoicing, goods receipting, and monthly reporting requirements, as directed by the Commonwealth and relevant Project Directors.
- Manage suppliers/contractors to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets.
- Negotiate service level requirements in consultation with capability managers and secure agreement on service levels.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned by the relevant Director or their delegate to achieve Commonwealth and/or individual Project Outcomes.
**Qualifications and Skill Sets**:
Mandatory:
- Proven experience in commercial management.
**Highly Desirable**:
- Expertise in negotiating contracts.
**Services to be Delivered**:
You will be responsible for delivering the following services:
