We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a structural draftsperson and inspector. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our team in drafting structural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with engineers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the drawings and models. Additionally, get first-hand experience in building structures by performing various site inspections.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drafting and preparing structural drawings of building elements.
- Work collaboratively with engineers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the drawings and models
- Interpret and implement design specifications and calculations
- Perform compliance inspection of building elements.
- Organise and supervise maintenance and repair work
- Participate in project meetings and provide support to the project team as needed
- Maintain project records and documentation
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills related to drafting techniques, software, and industry standards

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification in civil engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
- Familiarity with building codes and industry standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows

Preferred:

- Experience with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
