Add a strong willingness to learn, the ability to organise yourself and able to multi-task - then you are the person we are looking for and should apply to take up this exciting opportunity to join our team.Remuneration will be based on experience.The RoleThis is a dual role - where you will be required to run the reception and general administration of the clinic as well as assist with technician work when required which will include performing ECG Holter Monitors, BP monitors, Sleep studies, Lung Function Tests and ECGs.
Full training will be completed.You will work within a team and will work regularly at an agreed primary site in this case our Werribee clinic, but you may be rostered to other sites in the region to help cover leave or busy sessions.You will work a 76hour fortnight with rostered hours Monday to Friday working 7.5 - 8hr shifts, between 8.30am and 5.30pm.You will meet and greet patients attending the clinic and deal with appointments, billing and taking payments and generally attending to their needs while making them feel welcome.Handling phone calls, booking and confirming appointmentsEnsuring all required documentation is entered into the clinical softwareAll administration tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the clinicPerform medical tests such as ECG Holters, BP monitors, ECGs, Sleep-studies (Home-based), and Lung Function tests.Occasionally assist cardiologists in preparing patients for stress echocardiography procedures.Maintain and organise office and medical supplies and equipment.Downloading and programming monitors as requiredRequirementsTo be successful in this role you will need to possess:Full working rights & be a permanent resident in Australia is essentialMedical reception or technician experience would be looked upon favourably, but is not essentialKnowledge of medical software packages, HealthTrack would be highly desirableA current driver's license and carProficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent oral, written, communication & keyboard skillsAbility to handle high pressure environmentProfessional, warm and friendly dispositionA high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in your workNB: Working with Children and Police Check certificates must be supplied prior to commencing employment with Scope Healthcare.BenefitsFree on-site parking will be provided.Full training will be provided for the successful applicants.Remuneration will be based on experienceWork close to home with no after hours shifts required.Potential to learn and develop your skills and become an integral part of the Scope Healthcare team.This role will commence as soon as you are available & we will interview as appropriate candidates apply.
