About The Role
We have an opportunity for Electrical Tradespeople to join our Boilerhouse Maintenance team, working the 9-day fortnight roster (in accordance with current QAL practices).
Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Boilerhouse Maintenance, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
Your ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
Planned maintenance and breakdown repair of a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment
Working on complex PLC motor control on wharf machines and conveying system
Installation, maintenance, commissioning and calibration of instruments such as pressure, flow, temperature, mass, level & motion
About You
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
Queensland Electrical Licence is essential
Experience with instrumentation and high voltage would be highly desirable
Demonstrated diagnostic fault finding and problem-solving skills
Experience working with VSDs, PLC logic, electronic relays and fault finding on complex circuits is highly beneficial
Exposure to gas systems and PLC controlled systems would be advantageous
A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork
Strong work ethic
