About The Role
We have an opportunity for Electrical Tradespeople to join our Boilerhouse Maintenance team, working the 9-day fortnight roster (in accordance with current QAL practices). Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Boilerhouse Maintenance, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:

• Your ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
• Planned maintenance and breakdown repair of a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment
• Working on complex PLC motor control on wharf machines and conveying system
• Installation, maintenance, commissioning and calibration of instruments such as pressure, flow, temperature, mass, level & motion

About You
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:

• Queensland Electrical Licence is essential
• Experience with instrumentation and high voltage would be highly desirable
• Demonstrated diagnostic fault finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with VSD's, PLC logic, electronic relays and fault finding on complex circuits is highly beneficial
• Exposure to gas systems and PLC controlled systems would be advantageous
• A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork
• Strong work ethic
