Length of Contract: 18-months

Salary / Pay: $60-$80 Per hour + Super

Location: Sydney CBD, New South Wales

Reports to: Business Finance Director

Direct Management Reports: 0 (Potential in future to team lead)

The client are specialists within the Digital Automation & Energy management sector, they are going through a period of fast growth and are requiring support within their business Finance function. They offer a full flexible working model with 3 days a week in the office in the CBD. Working hours are 9am-5pm. **Job Description**:
We are delighted to be partnered with one of the fastest growing Digital Automation specialists in Sydney. They have approached us specifically to search for an additional head to their business finance function. You will be the interface with other divisions and business units to identify and address systemic issues and improve profitability by providing commercial guidance. To deliver scalable growth and value creation through business advisory & thoughtful analysis that drives strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide End to End support to the Secure Power business leaders from insights to actions to deliver and optimize long and short-term business performance, by supporting strategy and participating to decision making.
- Develop a strong trusted relationships with the business to influence business decisions and outcomes.
- Allowing data driven business decision, better risk anticipation and management, and challenge business decision when necessary.
- Develop and maintain high level Business Acumen (market trends, e-Commerce, competition, and challenges).
- Present financial performance in a timely and insightful manner to the management team and propose relevant comments and action plans.
- Participate and advise in business-decision making and business reviews as a partner to business leaders, ensure the understanding of financial performance and financial impact understanding of proposed solutions.
- Drive the accountability and P&L ownership of key business stakeholders.
- Lead performance management to ensure Targets met for Growth & Profitability. Contribute to optimization of top line, including price management, gross margin, drive allocation of resources and cost reduction plans.
- Lead and ensure quality and timing of Target setting, Forecasting process and Strategic Planning.
- Contribute to Strategic roadmap (AMSP). Challenge commercial and marketing strategy to capture scalable and profitably growth and ensure consistency with the overall strategy.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the strategic business plan
- Support business in developing / implementing new business investments or transformation initiatives.
- Ensure Business End to End governance on SEIT and SP processes

**Requirements**:

- Graduate degree in finance/accounting plus professional qualification.
- 10+ years accounting experience
- Understanding of the relevant industries; People Leadership, Financial (P&L) Management, Strategic Thinking & Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting, Risk Management, Business Systems, Continuous Improvement & Quality
- Excellent communication and IT skills (MS Excel, Tableau etc.)
- Knowledge of performance measurement
- Mastery of systems, analytical, tools and data management
- Polished communications skills
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Ability to critical evaluate proposals and opportunities
