**About the Company**

This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 2-month contract paying up to $54 - $58 p/h + Super. This role is located in Parramatta.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Policy Officer with a leading NSW Government agency.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Undertake allocated projects development analysis, implementation and review projects and initiative
- Prepare advice in allocated technical areas and timely reports, discussion papers, briefs and submissions to support decision making and contribute to the development of policies and initiatives
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to assist understanding of project impacts and delivery of desired policy outcomes and support project and program development
- Provide policy, procedure and technical advice to staff and managers to assist in quality service delivery
- Review correspondence, briefing notes and other written documents in a timely manner to respond to community, Executive and Ministerial requests

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in any relevant area (including economics, business analytics, public policy, program management, law, environmental science) or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated understanding of New South Wales government processes
- Well-developed communication skills with experience in dealing with the public, contractor, state agencies in the delivery of projects.
