**About this role**:
This newly created role is responsible for consolidating raw data, presenting the report in the designated format, monitoring predefined financial metrics, continually analyzing, and communicating trends and variances.

The Reporting analyst is a key member of the Pacific Finance team, whose primary function is to support the Finance team by generating accurate and timely performance reporting.

**How you will do it**
- Establish and integrate a new acquisition into JCI with FP&A activities and reporting tasks.
- Provide support to our Pacific local Finance team.
- Deliver effective and high-quality reporting and analysis and support internal stakeholder reporting expectations.
- Meet regular reporting deadlines and manage a workload of adhoc reporting requests.
- Manipulate and analyse large volumes of data.
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trend.
- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points.
- Combine data from multiple sources/systems to enhance current reporting and consolidation.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present data effectively to stakeholders.
- Prompt and appropriate escalation of issues.
- Increase data integrity and the ease of access to decision-making information.

**What we look for**
- Bachelors (or local equivalent) Degree in business, information technology with a minimum of five years' applicable experience in data analysis and report writing.
- Fluent in English and effective communication skills.
- Experience using Smartview/Onestream and/or Pronto is highly desirable.
- Experience migrating data or ERP transfers is also desirable.
- Experience using tools such as Power BI or Excel in creating visualisations and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve problems.
- Proactive mindset on addressing issues and process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks while managing time to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently with no supervision, however able to ask for help at the appropriate time to not miss deadlines.
