This North Brisbane Steel and Aluminium fabricator with twenty years' experience in the Queensland market is growing their impressive team. Benifits

**The Role**:

- Organise staff Daily Task Sheets for next Day works (task allocation)
- Prepare Documents for Fabrication process
- Organise workshop staff to conduct fabrication
- Oversee fabrication process and safety procedures
- **Check off fabricated items against workshop drawings - 3mm tolerance max**:

- Maintain acceptable time frames for fabrication from staff
- Check completed fabricated steel items Benefits
- weld quality/fully welded out, clean and at Trade Standard
- Check Paint quality of steel items after painting
- Assist/Oversee loading of steel trucks, using check off lists to ensure all items are loaded safely, and accounted for
- Assist in serving general fabrication customers in our office at times
- Assist in training apprentices
- Site work at times
- Fabrication on workshop floor alongside of team members at times
- Preparing materials/stock level in advance for workshop staff - ensuring we have materials for fabrication
- Assist to service and maintain workshop equipment
- Check completed daily time sheets
- Invoice out completed small jobs and call customers Meet deadlines for site requirements

**The Person**:

- **Minimum 7 years' experience as a Boilermaker**:

- Demonstrated people management experience
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills including the ability to identify and implement strategies for improved delivery
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Works well under pressure and able to accept responsibility
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word & Outlook
