**About the role**

We are seeking a Technical Officer to support in the delivery of environmental monitoring & field sampling for our ground & surface water compliance monitoring programs.

Applications are also open to those with limited experience but have a can-do attitude & a desire to follow a career in Water & Environmental sampling

This role is based in Maffra, VIC and is a permanent, full time opportunity. Relocation assistance can be provided.

**Duties include**:

- Undertaking environmental data collection activities
- Field water quality sample collection
- Report creation, data tracking & assisting with reporting updates
- Servicing, calibrating, and maintaining onsite monitoring equipment and associated sensors
- Undertaking maintenance and new works installations
- Observing maintenance needs at respective sites and ensuring works are appropriately scheduled into the work program

**About you**
- Prior experience in groundwater or related sampling (desirable)
- Qualifications in a field of Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, hydrography, or other similar fields. (Desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge in Data management
- A First Aid certificate and white/red card
