**Insights Lead - Sydney Office - Permanent Full Time**

**Who are you?**
- Own insight generation from start to finish.
- Extract data with SQL and analyse in Excel and/or Python to support product requirements.
- Independently explore data to form opinions, and liaise with Commercial and Product to iteratively develop data products.
- Construct actionable visual representations of the data, using different tools at different product stages - from slides to Tableau and beyond
- Present insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Use the wealth of data available at Domain to research, collate and interpret trends in the Australian property market.
- Work closely with other members of the scrum team (e.g. data scientists, data engineers, product) complementing each other's strengths while having the opportunity to learn from each other.
- Design automated and future proof systems to deliver regular reporting

**Attributes**
- Advanced SQL skills and MS Excel skills
- Applied analytical skills, strong ability to extract insights and explanations from data
- Experience in building robust and scalable analytical solutions to deliver actionable insight
- Experience with visualisation software (Tableau preferred)
- Customer focus, ability to visualise insights in an intuitive and meaningful manner
- Ability to distil complex concepts and data with a focus on the customer problem
- Experience presenting insights to senior internal and/or external stakeholders
- Creative mindset, advanced organisational and time management skills

**Nice to have**
- Experience conducting data analysis to solve business problems through the use of statistical and/or machine learning models
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and/or working on data products
- Experience coding in Python/R
- Interest / experience in financial services or property market
