The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is the leading advocate for surgical standards, professionalism and surgical education in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The College is a not-for-profit organisation that represents more than 8600 surgeons and 1300 surgical trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates.
RACS also supports healthcare and surgical education in the Asia-Pacific region and is a substantial funder of surgical research.
About the Role
You'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic outcomes and delivering value across a diverse portfolio of transformation projects. Working in close partnership with business stakeholders and project teams, you will shape solutions that enhance user experience and operational excellence—ultimately supporting the success of our members and the broader surgical community.
This is your opportunity to lead the analysis and design of impactful business solutions, manage complex projects, and champion change in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate business analysis across a wide range of initiatives
Partner with stakeholders to understand current challenges and future needs
Recommend and design solutions to deliver on strategic objectives
Support change management and user adoption activities
Document business requirements and process improvements
Balance competing priorities across multiple projects with ease
Champion user experience and ensure value-driven outcomes
This role is for a 12 month maximum term contract.
About You
You're an experienced business analyst with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a knack for bringing people together to solve complex problems. You enjoy working in both Agile and Waterfall environments and have a passion for continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Skills and Experience
Experience in a senior business analyst or equivalent role
Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Proficiency with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Experience in change management practices
A degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
