About your new role
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Field service- Leading hand to lead day-to-day workshop operations and deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for a combination of hands-on technical work and workshop leadership, including:
Installing and repairing lubrication, hydraulic, fire suppression and refueling equipment to a high standard.
Supervising and allocating tasks to Field service staff to ensure efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.
Ensuring all work is completed in line with customer expectations, within agreed timeframes and budget.
Providing technical support, mentoring team members and promoting best practices across the field.
Maintaining strict compliance with health and safety policies and upholding company values in all interactions.
Supporting and mentoring colleagues in Cooper built products and services and collaborating with other key branch personnel.

About you / What you will need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll be a trade-qualified fitter with strong hands-on experience and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Required:
Relevant trade or engineering qualification.
Current, valid driver's licence.
Sound knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.
Experience supervising or mentoring workshop staff.
A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.
Basic experience in job estimation, quoting and scheduling work.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Desirable (but not essential):
High Risk Licences - EWP, Working at Heights, Dogging, Rigging or Forklift.
Cert IV in Hydraulics or Training and Assessment.
Knowledge of Oracle or a Job Management System.
Experience with high force lifting equipment.
