**SERVICE FITTER - PERTH**

A well respected market leader in the Industrial services sector is seeking a fitter to join their team.

**Duties to include**:

- Disassembly and assembling of industrial gearboxes (including bearing and gear assemblies)
- Basic understanding of fits and tolerances
- Ability to use and read precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic machining abilities (incl. Lathe, Turret Mill, Surface Grinder)
- Report preparation (strip and assembly)
- Parts cleaning, preparation and painting
- Load testing
- Laser Shaft Alignments
- Preparing completed units for dispatch
- Operating Overhead Pendant Crane
- Some field service work

**To be successful in this role we seek a person with**:

- Trade Certificate (Fitter and Machinist or Mechanical Fitter)
- Experience in Mechanical service industry
- Forklift / High Risk License (essential or willingness to obtain)
- Overhead crane experience (ideally)
- Excellent communication skills
- Exemplary safety record
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well unsupervised within a small team environment
- Ability to Flexible hours as required with overtime
- Meticulous attention to housekeeping

**Salary**: From $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kewdale, WA 6105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
