Wave International is a multifaceted Resource Development firm with ~23 years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, project and asset management, and provides project strategies and solutions across battery minerals, mineral sands, bulk commodities and more.

Approaching 300 personnel plus independent contractors we are in a phase of significant growth and exciting realignment. This role will provide quality and compliance oversight at group level and flow into our Wave International, Wave Projects, Wave People and overseas entities.

The Manager - Quality, Compliance and Risk is responsible for monitoring and evaluating business activities that occur in the Design - Engineering - Construction - Delivery lifecycle, examining processes to determine their quality and compliance.

A key aspect of the role is to ensure that the systems, and process are fit for purpose, efficient, compliant and best practice. Working with personnel at all levels of organisation and key stakeholders to set and undertake a schedule of internal audits, take part in other internal and external audit processes, and to provide regular reporting on the activities conducted.
- Assist in planning, preparing and conducting internal operational process audits in accordance with the approved audit schedule
- Complete and issue audit reports
- Activity support existing QMS and OHS certification compliance and assist developing accreditation across other business entities
- Assisting in SharePoint / Teams management and continuous improvement of systems and record keeping
- Global compliance mapping
- Identify Non-compliances and instigate corrective actions as required.
- Maintain the project non-conformance system
- Promote quality awareness with project personnel to successfully achieve the quality objectives of all projects
- Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
- Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors

This position reports to the Group Director and is based within our Perth office at QV1. Occasional travel to Brisbane may be required.
