The hotel is located on Grey Street in South Bank neighbouring the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.About the RoleWe're seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead our hotel's F&B operations with energy, vision, and precision.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving excellence across multiple outlets, enhancing guest experiences, and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
If you're passionate about hospitality, innovation, and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead with impact, energise and mobilise F&B teams to maintain momentum and deliver consistently high performance across all operations.Enable leadership to guide and develop Operational Leaders to create memorable guest experiences through confident and capable service delivery.Coordinate staffing, resources, and movements with precision to ensure seamless day to day operations.Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals.Oversee both tactical and strategic aspects of F&B, including compliance, training, and quality and development of team.Drive operational excellence by uplifting team engagement, enhancing guest satisfaction, and improving business outcomes.Skills & ExperienceLead large scale teams with 7–10 years in F&B management, including 3–5 years in senior hotel or venue leadership.Managed multi outlet operations with consistent delivery on budgets, KPIs, and guest experiences.Applied strong commercial insight to drive revenue, control costs, and introduce innovative concepts.Inspire and lead high-performing teams through mentoring, motivation, and a culture of excellence.Enhanced guest experiences with a modern, personalised, and service-driven approach.Championed sustainability through eco conscious practices and responsible sourcing.Adapted quickly to operational challenges with strong planning, problem solving, and agility.Built stakeholder trust through clear communication and cross functional collaboration.Ensured compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.Leveraged technology to optimise operations, reporting, and guest engagement.Incredible team member discounts from your first day on-the-job.50% off stays at EVT hotels – Rydges, QT, Atura, Lylo and more.
