We are seeking two enthusiastic Diploma educators to join our team at Altona Early Years Hub. This state-of-the-art facility is located on the site of the Altona P-9 School. At the heart of this facility is the belief that each child is a competent learner from birth. Join a team of nurturing and experienced educators to deliver high quality and inclusive educational program for children from birth to six years, including sessional kindergarten

We have two Diploma positions available:
1x Diploma educator full time, fixed term position from 24/10/22 to 9/06/23. Working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster and receive a monthly RDO

1x Diploma educator full time, ongoing position. Working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster and receive a monthly RDO

**What will you do?**
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

**Essential criteria for a **Diploma Educator**:

- A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Experience working in a long day care centre
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
