About the role : Program Architect – Customer Transformation (24 month contract)
Reporting to the Enterprise Domain Architect - Customer, the Program Architect will serve as a strategic technology leader within the Customer Transformation Program. The role involves driving the architectural vision and ensuring technology decisions support the program's objectives and the organization's strategy. Responsibilities include:
Define and own the end-to-end program architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and strategic objectives.
Develop blueprints and roadmaps to guide solution decisions across teams.
Establish architecture governance processes, including design assurance, standards adherence, and risk management.
Make decisions on technology platforms, integration patterns, and data architecture to ensure sustainability.
Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure architectural decisions are understood and aligned.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure solutions meet architectural standards and timelines.
About You :
You are a strategic Architect experienced in leading large, complex programs. You are comfortable with technical details and executive presentations, focusing on delivering value through scalable design. Key experience includes:
Senior enterprise architecture experience in transformation programs, preferably within Energy or Utility sectors.
Experience with customer solutions in Retail operations (Billing, Credit & Collections) and corporate systems (HR, Finance, Procurement).
Core billing platform replacement experience in Energy is highly desirable.
Designing and implementing microservices architectures, especially on AWS cloud.
Understanding of integration architectures, including APIs, event-based designs like Kafka.
Data integration and migration strategies expertise.
Excellent presentation skills at all levels, including executives.
Nice to have: Experience with digital customer-facing solutions like web portals and mobile apps.
