**Description**:
A construction worker at Cole Civil plays a vital role in supporting the projects by undertaking various tasks and ensuring the smooth execution of operations. The main responsibilities and tasks for this position include:

- Assisting with the preparation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Operating hand and power tools to assist with various construction tasks, such as digging trenches, breaking up concrete, or assisting with asphalt paving.
- Performing routine maintenance on construction equipment and machinery to ensure their proper functioning.
- Following safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
- Supporting the team in completing construction projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and targets.

A construction worker is expected to demonstrate strong teamwork skills, physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety procedures. **Skills and Experiences**:
Required & Desirable Qualifications
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- WorkSafe issued Construction Induction Card (mandatory)
- HR Truck Licence (mandatory)
- HC Truck Licence (desirable)
- Traffic Control - Ticket (desirable)

Required skills
- Ability to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to use civil construction machinery & equipment.
- Ability to operate basic construction tools and equipment
- Basic understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures
- Good communication skills to follow instructions effectively
- Capability to work in a team environment

Required experiences
- Prior experience in construction or related field is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and practices is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle basic construction tasks under supervision
- Experience with using hand and power tools is advantageous
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards within the construction industry is beneficial
