Are you passionate about enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of older adults?
The Eastern Suburbs Older Persons Mental Health Service at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diversional Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team.
You will play a vital role in delivering recovery-focused diversional therapy programs on an 8-bedded inpatient ward and engaging with community initiatives to support consumers.

Selection Criteria :
Hold a recognised health science or applied science bachelor's degree in leisure, recreation, or diversional therapy recognised by the Australian Recreational Therapy Association (ARTA), or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated skills and experience in diversional therapy techniques with older people.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage proactively with clients.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and exercise independent professional judgement.
Computer skills and experience with health information systems.
Commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development.
Current driver's license or willingness to travel.
