- Manager level quantitative risk modelling experience within the Australian banking industry in a risk or finance discipline in an IRB accreditation role.
- Highly developed contemporary financial risk modelling skills
- Highly developed working knowledge of contemporary credit risk management techniques, APRA's Prudential Standards, and capital management.
- Strong ability to synthesise complex quantitative and qualitative requirements, practices and issues and develop appropriate strategies for delivering solutions
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating with a demonstrated ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.

Reporting to the Head of Quantitative Risk Modelling, you'll get to:

- Support the development and maintenance of the Bank's risk modelling infrastructure, primarily credit risk, to achieve and maintain accreditation from APRA to report credit risk regulatory capital under the Basel II Internal Ratings Based (IRB) approach as well as support credit decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure they are engaged in the model development process
- Prepare high quality, concise, information rich and plain English analytical reports for Senior Management, Executive and Board Committees summarising analysis for all areas of model operation

We are open to various locations and full or part-time hours.
