**About the Opportunity**
This is an exciting career opportunity for a
**Maintenance Engineering Manager** to join our growing team. You will be a key player in the areas of Safety, Environment, Quality and Process improvements. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance and Design Department for the manufacturing facility at
**Beenleigh **producing light gauge metal profiles for the building industry, whilst ensuring that performances are met and exceeded.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintain systems, work scheduling, maintenance labour requirements
- Contribute to the company's strategic objectives ensuring that all plant processes are working effectively and efficiently, that our plant is operating in a safe manner and that our targeted performances are being met
- Supervision of maintenance personnel, and Graduate Mechanical Engineer
- Responsible for annual engineering expense budgets and in developing and setting annual maintenance and capital budgets
- Implement improvements in a controlled and structured manner
- Develop a team structure, training plans, succession plans and support plans to ensure genuine engineering expertise across the full range of assets
- Build relationships with local contractors, suppliers and service providers

**About You**
- Degree qualified in Engineering or Trade qualified
- At least 5 years management experience
- Broad experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Strong people leader and team player
- Strong project management expertise
- SAP preferred not essential as training would be given
