Our client is a manufacturer of electrical enclosures for use in industrial settings. We are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Trades Assistant who is seeking a long term opportunity for a leading company with an excellent track record.

Hours: 7.30am - 3pm Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a small team within the modifications area
- Assemble and disassemble products and add components to meet customer orders.
- Package products after modification for transport and distribution and move products to the warehouse dispatch area.
- Component Fabrication, off site customer assembly and customer repairs.
- Brush Paint components as required
- Unload, unpack and store stock using safe work procedures.
- Check and inspect goods on arrival, complete appropriate documentation where required.
- Report discrepancies and/or damaged goods.
- Load and unload vehicles using lifting aids and appliances where appropriate in compliance with workplace procedures and safety legislation.

Skills and Attributes:

- Be mechanically minded and ideally have experience leading a team.
- Assembly, Fabrication and component painting experience
- Warehouse experience - picking and packing however not essential
- Ability to read and decipher technical drawings
- Customer service and Results orientation
- Teamwork and co-operation
- Attention to detail, Computer literate and Flexibility
- Numerical skills to accurately count, receive and issue stock
