**ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE**

As a **Program Facilitator**based at the **Parklea Correctional Centre**, you will deliver transformative offence-related programs in a custodial setting. You'll have the chance to work independently or with a co-facilitator to help rehabilitate inmates, equipping them with the skills they need to reintegrate into society successfully.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Developing and submitting monthly program schedules
- Ensuring precise record-keeping and meeting KPIs
- Conducting focus groups with inmates to ensure the program aligns with their needs and interests
- Recruiting inmates for group programs
- Preparing and delivering life skills and personal development programs
- Monitoring inmate progress and adjusting programs accordingly
- Maintaining program integrity in terms of content, frequency, and duration

To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring passion, dedication, and strong interpersonal skills. You should be a natural communicator who can engage and connect with a diverse range of individuals, especially those facing personal challenges.

Desired qualifications and skills include:

- A background in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Education, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Experience coordinating programs for diverse client groups is a plus.
- Strong judgment and ability to manage sensitive situations with care and discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message to suit the audience.
- The ability to demonstrate empathy, cultural awareness, and build strong relationships with inmates, peers, and others.
