**About the role**:
Help lead the energy transition to renewables through the positive engagement of key stakeholders, including community, by building trust, managing social risks and sharing benefits.
**Why this role matters?**
- Responsible for identifying, planning and engaging with key stakeholders in the delivery of large scale project, including the broader community, governments and departments at all levels and advocacy groups.
- Help us to better understand concerns among our Stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure we appropriately address and mitigate.
- Lead the process to identify, assess and manage complex risks specific to engagement activities and reputational impacts.
- Provide SME advice, including development, communication and delivery of operating processes, procedures and systems regarding the social performance delivery of renewable and cleaner energy projects.
- Provide Social Performance and Community SME input and advice into tender submission reviews (e.g. EPC works), submission of Government grants and for investment review papers.
**What will you bring?**
- Previous extensive experience in engagement for large scale development projects such as such as energy or resources.
- Demonstrated experience in navigating and managing complex issues with a broad range of stake holder groups.
- The proven track record to develop strategies and plans to manage and mitigate high risk engagement and reputational risks.
- Demonstrated strategic and tactical communication and interpersonal skills and strong team participation, collaboration and inclusive behaviours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Due to the nature of this role, travel will be required.
- A sound knowledge of renewable energy generation and development projects in Australia is a plus
