We are looking for someone seeking to develop their teaching skills and knowledge in a dynamic and progressive school environment.Applications are invited from suitable persons for the full time, contract position of Grade 5/6 Classroom Teacher to commence 27 January 2026 to Friday 26 June 2026(Terms one and two).
Graduates are encouraged to apply.Role DescriptionApplicants must:Have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and Catholic identity of the schoolBe innovative, enthusiastic and collaborative with a strong focus on the science of learning to ensure high student outcomesDemonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the Visions for Instruction and EngagementDemonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the Science of Learning and how this impacts student outcomesDisplay an enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum to support student learningDemonstrate an ability to create a collaborative learning environment that educates, challenges and engagesHave an understanding of Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) and the implementation of this to create safe and effective teaching and learning environmentsBe willing to participate in and teach Italian in our 'Teachers as co-learners' languages programDemonstrate an ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleaguesProvide students with a child-safe environmentSpecial RequirementsPossess VIT registrationBe accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or be in the process of obtaining this).
